The Startup World Cup Israel is the ultimate opportunity for Israeli startups to take their ventures to the next level! The event is a global platform that aims to connect startups with investors and corporations, and provide a platform to showcase their products and services. The competition is powered by Pegasus Tech Ventures, a Silicon Valley-based venture capital firm that has invested in companies such as SpaceX, Airbnb, Data.ai, Bird, Coinbase and more. The regional startup winners will be competing at the Grand Finale, held in San Francisco each year, for the World Cup title and the investment prize of 1,000,000 USD.
This is the second edition of the Startup World Cup that Tech It Forward is organizing, and we are incredibly excited to see the level of innovation and creativity that Israeli startups will bring to the competition. Last year's edition was a huge success, with over 100 Israeli startups applying and the Israeli winner, Matricelf, making it to the podium at the Grand Finale in San Francisco.
The Startup World Cup Israel will take place on the morning of March 16th, 2023, at the offices of EBN Law. Our prestigious panel of judges will interview and rate the applicants according to the form that will be shared with them. A representative from Pegasus Tech Ventures will come to Israel from Silicon Valley for the event, and we are excited to announce that we are honored to have Diplomat Robyn Kessler, Commercial Counsellor at the US Embassy in Israel, opening the event.
